🔶 Clashes between armed clans in Gaza and Hamas

According to The Jerusalem Post, Israeli security officials say that Bedouin armed clans in the Gaza Strip, which oppose the terrorist group Hamas, have inflicted significant losses on the group’s military wing in fighting and are now involved in securing areas in the west of the “Yellow Line” and identifying Hamas weapons and military infrastructure.

Based on the report, since the announcement of a ceasefire, these clans have continued their activities in a covert manner and help security forces ensure the safety of the area and identify weapons and underground and above-ground facilities; infrastructure that Israeli officials say is linked to the activities of the Hamas terrorist group.

An Israeli security official described the activity of these anti-Hamas clans as “classified and out of sight,” and said: “The activity of the anti-Hamas clans is close, under the radar and hidden, and that is a good thing.”

He added that this process has been “very effective” and “proceeds according to plan.”

However, as The Jerusalem Post writes, within Israeli security institutions there are differing views about the future of the activities of these Bedouin clans.
