Reza Vali-Zadeh, an Iranian-American journalist imprisoned in Evin, said in an audio message that there are no medical services available, that there may be a spread of tuberculosis, and that he has been deprived of visits with his family for five months.

CBS News announced on 16 Mordad 1405 that it received this audio message from inside Evin Prison. Ryan Fehi, Vali-Zadeh’s lawyer, also said that his client wanted this message to be published.
