🔶 Trump’s early return to the White House ahead of the decision on Iran

The news portal “Axios” reported on Sunday, 29 Shahrivar (September 20) that U.S. President Donald Trump cut short his weekend vacation at the presidential residence in “Camp David” and returned to the White House earlier than scheduled.

So far, Trump and U.S. officials have not explained the reason for this early return. According to Axios, the U.S. president was supposed to return from Camp David to the White House on Sunday night.

Trump’s early return to the White House comes at a time when the U.S. president is reviewing his next steps in the dispute with Iran. He had previously spoken several times about an imminent decision regarding Iran.

Earlier, the U.S. president told Axios that he has a “major decision” ahead and that he is “on the verge of deciding on the destruction of the Iranian government or continuing diplomacy.”

Axios reported on Thursday, 26 Shahrivar (September 17) that in an interview with this outlet, Trump said he is close to a “turning point” in decision-making about Iran and that he must decide on whether to resume wide-ranging attacks.
