🔸 CNN: The Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Is Looking for a Way to Get Out of the War with Iran
CNN, citing informed sources, reported that in recent weeks, General Dan Keene, the Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, has emphasized in private conversations that the United States needs a “way out” of the war with Iran.
According to this report, he believes that the military options currently being considered may backfire and that airstrikes alone are unlikely to achieve the government’s objectives.
CNN also wrote in this report that Keene is not the only U.S. government official who believes the United States is at a decisive point in the war.
Based on this report, he has also discussed the possibility of finding a way out of the war with several other senior advisors to the U.S. president, including JD Vance, Trump’s deputy, John Ratcliffe, the head of the CIA, and Marco Rubio, the foreign minister.
