🔶 TankerTrackers: Oil exports via the Strait of Hormuz over the past seven days hit 3.8 million barrels per day

The international company “TankerTrackers” said in a message on the X network that over the past seven days, oil exports via the Strait of Hormuz have averaged 3.8 million barrels per day.

In the post, which was published on the company’s X account on Sunday, August 30, it also stated that during the implementation period of the understanding between Iran and the United States—which in practice lasted only 25 days—this figure would have amounted to more than 9.8 million barrels per day.

Following Israel and the United States’ attacks on Iran in January, the Islamic Republic carried out its previous threat to close the Strait of Hormuz, and reopening this vital international energy corridor became one of the key issues of contention in this war—an impasse that has not been fully resolved to date and has also drawn military clashes into this waterway.
